‘We wanted to respect both sides of this equation, which is to do something fresh and new and important with retro design – an older design – and not change it too much.’
The third silhouette, the Air Max Verona, breathes new life into Nike’s ever-growing women’s lineup, paying homage to the game-changing Air Verona from 1992. Fast forward nearly 30 years, the radical new model nods to Nike’s first-ever women’s-exclusive shoe, delivering acquainted Air Max style with a female focus.
