Event Recap: Sneaker Freaker Swap Meet March 2019
Sneakerheads from all over Australia flocked to Melbourne on Saturday to flex and finesse themselves a steal. The Globe warehouse is where it all went down, and sellers arrived early, pushing their tables to the limit with such a large amount of kicks stacked in such a close proximity. Despite the rainy morning, footwear fanatics still came decked out in some certified heat, evaporating any puddles left behind.
The first Swap Meet of 2019 was a success, with every man, woman and child that attended walking away with a smile on their face, and with plenty of fresh pairs on feet.
Sellers were selling, buyers were buying, and traders were trading. Grails were acquired, and good deals were made. If you were running low on energy, you were able to enjoy a kebab and brewski out in the sun. The Sneaker Freaker table had our Ultimate Sneaker Book and signed copies were flying into waiting hands. Jeff Staple even made an appearance, copping a pair for his personal collection, and showing some major love to the Melburnians.
At the end of the day, you either walked away with a handful of kicks, or a pocketful of cash.
If you missed out, don't fret, because the next SF Swap Meet will be back before you know it, with more deals to be had and Grails to be sold.
